A beginning with an end in mind

Imagine you are in the airport. You walk towards a plane. As you are about to board the plane, the first question you might ask,

‘Where are we going?’

Yes, indeed, where are we going? There’s no point in talking about life journey if we don’t know where we want to go with this journey. Where would you like to go in your life? At this point, some people might have a vague idea, some people might not.

So, let me ask you a question – imagine that you are now on your death bed and your life is coming to an end. What would like to have created and fulfilled on? What would you like to be remembered for?

For myself, I would like to create joy and fulfillment for the world. I want to be remembered for bringing positive energy to my friends and family around me.

I want to make a
difference that puts a smile on people’s face. There’s just something about that genuine smile that money cannot buy.

I want to create abundance of wealth, so that my future generations never have to be concerned about lack of money limiting their future paths.

I want to start a social enterprise to develop young leaders in school, to bring out the best potential of children at a young age.

I want to create strong bonds with my friends and family, empowering and supporting each other.

I want to have peace with myself and fulfillment that last a lifetime.

Get a blank piece of paper. Take a few minutes and close your eyes. Now open your eyes again. With the end of your life in mind, write down everything that you want to have in your lifetime.

What would you like to create?
